How to Test Your Automatic Discount On Your Store
Once you've created a discount, we recommend testing it on your store to make sure everything is working properly.
We have created a "Test discounts" page in our app, that lets you:
Preview how discounts will apply with different items in the cart, different customers, etc.
Troubleshoot why your discount isn't applying as expected, with plain English feedback.
Using this page, you can diagnose potential issues early. Check out this tutorial to learn how to use it.
Once you have tested using the "Test discounts" page, continue reading to learn how to test it on your store and double check everything is working correctly.

For the most part, discounts created with Regios Automatic Discounts operate like Shopify's built-in automatic discounts.
However, there is one key difference:
If your discount is limited to only specific customers (for example, if only customers with a specific tag can use your discount), then it will only show up on the cart page if either:
The customer is logged into your store.
The customer has already filled in their name, email, etc. on the "Information" page in the checkout before returning to the cart.
Until either of these conditions is met, Shopify doesn't know who a customer is, and it can't feed that information to our discount.
Create a discount using the discount settings page. Add any desired customer tags, metafields, etc. to your discount settings.
Optional - sign into a customer account on your store that has the desired tags, metafields, etc. If you skip this step, you will not see your discount in the cart, unless your discount applies to all customers.
Add some eligible products from your store into the cart.
Proceed to the cart page. If you are signed into an eligible customer account, you will see your discount appear as shown in this screenshot:
Proceed to the checkout page. If you aren't already signed into an eligible customer account, then enter your information (name, email, address, etc.) into the checkout form, so that Shopify will know who you are.
Your discount will now appear in the checkout, as shown in this screenshot:
A common source of confusion is that Shopify oftentimes "caches" the discounts applied to the set of products in the cart, from before you had our app installed.
For example, if you had 3 products in the cart before adding our app, and still have the same 3 products in the cart, with the same quantity, the discount calculation won't be triggered.
To fix this, try increasing/decreasing the quantity of 1 of the items in your cart to trigger the calculation.
If that doesn't solve your problem, please consult our Troubleshooting Guide, which addresses other common problems.
