Product Attribute Discounts

Our app gives you the ability to create discounts based on additional product/variant attributes, such as:

• Variant title/product option

Due to the Shopify Functions Input Query Complexity Limitation, these specialized product/variant eligibility conditions had to be put in their own separate discount type, rather than being available in other discount types. Also, due to this limitation, several features that are available in other discount types are not available in product attribute discounts (though you can submit a feature request).

How to create product attribute discounts

To create a new product attribute discount:

1. On the home screen of the app, click "Create discount."
2. You can use the AI Discount Generator, a pre-built template, or start from scratch.
3. If you click "Start from scratch," Scroll down to "Advanced discount types."
4. Click "Product attribute."

Variant title eligibility conditions

Options:

• Include or exclude products: Whether you want variants matching the conditions to be eligible, or NOT eligible for the logic.
• Compare by: How to compare the variant titles of items in the cart to the pre-defined values you provide. For example: "Contains," "Starts with."
• Variant title [contains/starts with/etc] one of these strings: : A list of pre-defined values to compare variant titles in the cart to.
