MCP Server

Regios Discounts has an MCP server, so you can manage your discounts from an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude. Connect it once, then ask in plain language: "which discounts are running?", "create 10% off orders over $100", "add these codes to my summer sale". The assistant can only see and change discounts in your own store.

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant

In your Shopify admin, open Apps > Regios Discounts > Settings.
Under REST API & MCP, click Manage API keys, then Create API key.

Copy the AI assistant connector URL. It is only shown once.
In your AI assistant's settings, add a custom connector (sometimes called a custom MCP server), paste the URL, and set authentication to none.

The URL contains your secret key. Treat it like a password and don't share it.

See which discounts are running, scheduled or expired

Ask the assistant, for example: "Which of my discounts are active right now?" or "List my discounts that end this month."
It can also show what a specific discount does and which other discounts it combines with.

Create a discount from a description

Describe the discount, for example: "Buy 2 get 1 free on the Summer collection" or "15% off orders over $150 with code SAVE15."
The assistant uses the same AI generator as the app and saves the result as a draft.
It gives you a link to open the draft in Regios Discounts. There you choose any products or collections it mentions, review it and publish it.
AI generation is limited per store each hour. If you hit the limit, try again later or create the discount in the app.

Add discount codes to a code discount, or check whether a code exists

Ask, for example: "Add the codes VIP1, VIP2 and VIP3 to my VIP discount" or "Does the code WELCOME10 exist?"
Large batches of codes are added in the background and can take a moment to appear.

Change a discount's name or dates

Ask, for example: "End my summer sale this Friday at midnight" or "Rename my BFCM discount to Black Friday 2026."

Connect developer tools such as Claude Code or Cursor

Use https://automatic-discounts.regiostech.com/mcp as the server URL.
Send your API public key and secret key with HTTP Basic authentication, the same as the REST API.

Disconnect an AI assistant

Delete its key under Settings > REST API & MCP > Manage API keys. Every assistant that used that key stops working immediately.
