Active Period Overlap Error

Usually, when people run into this error message, it is due to one of the following causes:

You have more than five app-based discounts in your store. The article we linked goes into detail about this issue and its workarounds.
You have an active built-in Shopify automatic discount (these prevent other automatic discounts from being active at the same time). If so, temporarily deactivate it, then save again. See the following section for more details.
You already have 25 automatic discounts in total (this is the limit set by Shopify). Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this - reach out to Shopify support to let them know how important having more automatic discounts is for you!

Potential Conflict With Shopify Automatic Discounts


Unfortunately, Shopify's built-in automatic discounts only support 1 being active at a time.

If an automatic discount is active, then Shopify will prevent apps from creating their own active automatic discounts.

This is a restriction in Shopify itself that we cannot work around.

To work around this, you need to deactivate all active Shopify built-in automatic discounts, such as "Buy X Get Y" discounts, and then try pressing "Save" again.
