What is “Number of Uniques”?

“Number of Uniques” is a number term you can use inside conditions like:

  • Compare Numbers
  • Calculation

It returns the number of distinct items in the cart—based on products, variants, or collections.

Common Use Cases

  • “Buy 3 different products from a collection”
  • “Buy 2 or more distinct variants of the same product”
  • “Get a discount if the cart includes items from 3 or more collections”

How to Use It

1. Add a New Condition

  • In the Logic Builder, click Add Criteria
  • Choose Number of unique products, Number of unique variants, or Number of unique collections.

This will create either a Compare Numbers or Calculation condition.

2. Use “Number of Uniques” as the "Compare this number"

Select among:

  • Number of unique products
  • Number of unique variants in cart
  • Number of unique collections in cart

3. Set "To this Number"

  • Compare it to a constant (e.g., >= 3)
  • Or use a variable from elsewhere in your logic

Notes

  • “Unique” means distinct product IDs, variant IDs, or collection IDs
  • Quantity doesn’t matter—3 of the same product counts as 1 unique
  • Use this to build flexible logic that prevents edge cases like stacking discounts for buying multiples of a single item
