Line Item Property Discounts

Our app gives you the ability to create discounts based on the values of line item properties.

Due to the Shopify Functions Input Query Complexity Limitation, line item property eligibility conditions had to be put in their own separate discount type, rather than being available in other discount types. Also, due to this limitation, several features that are available in other discount types are not available in line item property discounts (though you can submit a feature request).

How to create line item property discounts

To create a new line item property discount:

1. On the home screen of the app, click "Create discount."
2. Scroll down to "Advanced discount types."
3. Click "Line item property."

Line item property eligibility conditions

Options:

• Property name: The line item property to read from line items when the discount logic is being evaluated.
• Compare by: Choose operators such as "Equals," "Not equals," "Contains," etc. to tailor line item property eligibility to your liking.
• Property value: A static value to compare the line item property's value to when the discount logic is being evaluated.
