How to Restore Deleted Discounts

If you accidentally deleted a discount, you can easily restore it from your backups.

Example Use Cases

• Accidentally deleted a live discount.
• Need to quickly bring back a promotion you’ve used before.

Steps to Restore

1. Go to the app home screen.

You’ll see a list of discount backups. If you don’t see your discount right away, navigate back through pages until you find it.

2. Click on the discount you want to restore.

This opens the “Create discount” page with all fields pre-filled from the old discount.

3. Save the discount.

The restored discount won’t be active until you click Save.

If Your Discounts Can't Be Restored

If the last time you logged in was before this feature was implemented, unfortunately, we won't be able to retrieve your discounts. Please let us know what type of discount you're trying to set up, and we'll be more than happy to assist you with that.

If You Previously Uninstalled The App

For future reference, you can cancel your subscription to the app without uninstalling it by visiting the Billing page in the app.

FAQs

Is there a way to permanently remove deleted discounts in order to clear up space for more codes?

Backups of deleted discounts do not count towards Shopify's 25 automatic discount limit. The backups are simply stored in our database rather than in Shopify. Therefore, there's no need to delete the backups, and we currently don't offer a way to delete the backups.
