How to Create Discounts for In-Store Pick-up

Due to limitations in Shopify itself, you cannot create a product/order discount for customers who select in-store pickup. However, you can create a shipping discount for people who pick up in store.

How to Create Shipping Discounts for Local Pickup

Location names: "US" and "Canada"

Go to Settings > Locations in Shopify.
Make note of the names of your locations. For example, US and Canada.
Instruct our AI Discount Generator to create a discount for 5% off shipping if delivery method title (NOT retail location) is "Location 1" or "Location 2". (Replace with the titles of your locations.)

Why aren't product/order discounts set eligibility to include/exclude local pickup?

Our app is based on the Shopify Functions API. This API does not give product or order discounts visibility into the selected delivery method. However, shipping discounts can see it.
