Help! The Discounted Prices Are Displaying To Everyone!
THIS DOCUMENT IS FOR THE "DISCOUNTED PRICE" BLOCK. FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEW VERSION OF THE "DISCOUNT ON PRODUCT PAGE" (DOPP) FEATURE, CLICK HERE.
There are a few possible reasons why your "Discounted Price" block might appear to be offering discounted prices to everyone.
If you would like the discounted price to only show to specific people, make sure the "Visibility > Only customers with specific tags can see this" checkbox is checked, and then enter the tags in the "Visibility > Customer tags, separated by commas" text field.
As mentioned here in the tutorial, the HTML for this app block is based on the Dawn theme.
Unfortunately, it is simply impossible to support every theme with this app block, because:
Every theme is completely different
Shopify app blocks only allow up to 25 settings
If you are on a different theme, you will need to make CSS customizations to your theme, in order to hide the make the CSS classes we use for "hidden" prices to actually hide elements on your page.
Fortunately, we have a new version of this feature that will work with more themes. To get updated when it's available, please upvote and comment on this thread in our public feedback board.
As mentioned here in the tutorial, "If this is checked and the customer is not eligible for the discount, then the original price will be shown, like how it appears by default in Dawn."

Possibility 1 - You don't have Visibility settings enabled

Possibility 2 - Your theme is not Dawn/not based on Dawn
