# Why Are My Discounts Gone?

We understand how stressful it can be if discounts suddenly disappear, especially when they’re tied to customer promises or promotions. That’s why we built automatic backups so you can restore them quickly.

## Step 1: Restore Discounts from Backups

## Step 2: Understand Possible Causes

Our app does **not automatically delete discounts**. There is only one function that can delete them, and it requires manual action. Every time it’s used, our system logs the `myshopify` domain on our servers—so we can definitively confirm whether the deletion came from our app.

The most common causes are:

* **Someone on your team accidentally deleted it** from the Shopify admin “Discounts” page.
* **Another app** may have modified or removed discounts.
* In rare cases, a collaborator with access to your store may have removed them.

## Step 3: Get Support

If you still need help, please wait for our support team. We can:

* Help you restore discounts from backups.
* Review our logs to confirm whether a discount was deleted via our app.

Please note: our support team is not available 24/7. While we respond as quickly as possible, there may be short delays before we can review your case.
