We highly recommend upgrading your discounts to our advanced logic builder: [About the Advanced Logic Builder](/en/article/about-the-advanced-logic-builder-1xxaj2u/) It's been in production since 2023 and offers more powerful options for creating discounts, such as: * Excluding customers/products from discounts * Requiring customers to have multiple tags at once * First-time customer and repeat customer discounts * Auto add to cart offers * Combine product and shipping discounts in the same code * And much more.... ## About the Legacy Logic Builder This page allows you to set up automatic product, order, and shipping discounts. The legacy logic builder page is broken up into sections: * **Amount off products/order/shipping for specific customers**: You can add basic settings here, like the title of the discount. * **Value**: You can choose whether to apply a percentage discount, fixed amount discount, or volume discount. * **Applies to/Applies when these products are in the cart**: You can use our product eligibility options to choose which products the discount applies to. * **Customer eligibility**: You can use our customer eligibility options to choose which customers the discount applies to. * **Minimum purchase requirements**: You can optionally set a minimum purchase amount, or minimum quantity of items purchased. * **Maximum purchase requirements**: You can optionally set a maximum purchase amount, or maximum quantity of items purchased. * **Subscriptions and selling plans**: You can set how the discount interacts with subscription/one-time purchase items. * **Combinations**: You can enable your discount to combine with other product, order, and shipping discounts, including Shopify's built-in discounts. The discount applies to both subscription items and one-time purchase items. * Discount only applies to one-time purchases: The discount will not apply to subscription items. * Discount only applies to subscriptions: The discount will not apply to one-time purchase items. ### Combinations Read [Shopify's helpdesk article on combining discounts](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/discounts/combining-discounts). Our app's discounts follow the exact same combination logic. ### Active dates * Start date + start time: Your discount will be made active at the time you specify here. By default, new discounts are active immediately. * Set end date: If checked, you will also be able to set an end date + end time for your discount to be active. ### Developer options **If you modify these options, you can break your discount. Please don't edit developer options unless support instructs you to.** * Always throw: If checked, the discount will always crash. This is used by support to manually obtain bug reports for troubleshooting the app in your store. ## Need help?
